Welcome to Calor 2012

Santa Fe Convention Center, 201 W. Marcy Street, Santa Fe, NM

Transportation

We expect that most conference participants will take a flight to the Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ, a.k.a. Albuquerque International Sunport) and then will either use a shuttle service (please make reservations in advance) or rent a car to travel to Santa Fe. The distance from ABQ to Santa Fe is about 65 miles. If you do not arrive on Sunday, taking a trainĀ  from the Alvarado Transportation Center (downtown Albuquerque) to Santa Fe Depot can also be a viable solution. If you decide to use this mode of transportation (which is by far the cheapest one), check the train and the bus schedules from the airport to the Alvarado Transportation Center on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express website. Make sure that you use a schedule appropriate for your arrival date, as weekday and weekend schedules are very different.

If flying through (or from) the Dallas/Fort Worth International airport (DFW) fits well in your itinerary, you might consider taking a direct flight to the Santa Fe County Municipal Airport (SAF) using American Eagle. From there, an airport shuttle or a taxi will take you to your hotel. There is also a direct flight between SAF and the Los Angeles International airport (LAX).

The conference venue is marked by a circle with number 31 in it on the following map of Santa Fe. Additional information about getting to and around Santa Fe is available from the City of Santa Fe Visitor's Guide.
